REVOLUTIONISE YOUR RACE DAY

DESTROY YOUR PERSONAL BEST

It happens to the best of us. You are killing it in your race and next thing the kayak transition turns into carnage. This is where most competitors get caught out and it is all down to lack of technique and confidence. Say goodbye to your race plan and say hello to playing catch up. Our training sessions teach you kayak control in the exact same boats used for multisport races. We perfect the all-important forward stroke, get your breathing right and show you the race tips and tricks that will have you flying ahead in this section.

Know Before
You Go

  • Do I need to know how to swim?

Do I need to know how to swim?

You do need to be comfortable in water. Just like in a race you will be wearing a Personal Flotation Device (PFD) that will keep you up if you capsize. The Boyne is waist-high in most places so you can just stand up if you go in.

  • Do I need to know how to kayak?

Do I need to know how to kayak?

  • Will the weather affect the training?

Will the weather affect the training?

Only lightning will stop the water activities. Rain will keep you cool.
