Become a daredevil six inches off the ground
Can you hang on and save your team?
With 8 different obstacles for you to try, our Low Ropes Course is a great team challenge. It is heavy on collaboration and light on heroics. Getting from A to B is not so easy on your own. You have to work with others to bridge your way along the river bank. There are balancing challenges where everyone has to work together. Our mohawk walk will stretch you. Our land skis will slow you down. Just when you think you have it sussed, our facilitators will change the rules of the course.
How high off the ground is the Low Ropes Course?
The highest section of the low ropes course is only .5m off the ground. It is designed so that you can step on and off without trouble.
Is it safe?
Playing in the outdoors does carry some risk. That is why all our guides are certified Canoeing Ireland instructors.
How long does the Low Ropes Course last?
Depending on the group it will last for 1 – 1.5 hours.
Are there changing rooms?
Yes, there are changing rooms and toilets available at our riverside base.
Is there food available?
We have a fully covered outdoor coffee shop with benches close to the course where you can watch the activities. You can buy tea, coffee, ice-cream and snacks while you relax.
Is there parking?
We have limited parking but there is a large paid (€2 cash only) car park across the road from us.
Do I need to pre-book?
The low ropes course has to be scheduled so it is better to pre-book
Will the weather affect the activities?
The low ropes course can be run in any weather. Rain just adds another dimension to it.

our low ropes course is introductory level so it is up to you how hard you want to play.
We want to stay low impact and make more of the riverside without damaging the other creatures that live here.
