Water Activities
With 12km of river for you to explore, the Boyne Blueway is a different day out. You can take easy access routes that give you plenty of craic. You can go on longer paddles that take you deep into idyllic countryside. No matter what part of the river you explore, you will have experienced guides with you to get you back to us safely.
Land Activities
It’s rare enough to get wet if you don’t want to though. If you want to stay on land we have plenty more activities at our riverside base. You can focus on hitting bullseyes in our Archery section. Our low ropes obstacle course keeps your feet close to the ground. It will also test your flexibility. If you fancy a mix of both water and land activities you can join our raft-building challenge.

About Us
Everyone thought we were crazy when we started Boyne Valley Activities. After a lifetime in construction we wanted to create the perfect day for a day off. Whether it is floating by medieval ruins, paddling across the rapids or drifting gently through islands, the Boyne is our happy place. This is where we first learned to kayak so we know it better than any other river in Ireland. It is where we began to appreciate the outdoors so we know it is perfect for beginners.
Since we began we have introduced thousands of first-time visitors to this special area of conservation. We started with a van on the side of the road and now 10 years later have an outdoor covered coffee shop at our riverside base. The Boyne has grown with us. It is a Blueway now – which means she is officially designated as the perfect place for a day off.
