Boyne Blueway

Located just 45km from Dublin, the Boyne Blueway is a beautiful stretch of water from Inchamore Bridge near Longwood through the town of Trim itself and on to Bective Mill. This makes our centre the ideal location to begin your Blueway adventure in Meath. Whether you’re into paddling or interested in the history and beauty of the Boyne Valley, the Boyne Blueway is a must for all paddling skill levels from beginners to the experienced once you are over 18.

With a length of 35km, the full stretch can be paddled in approx 8 hours by experienced paddlers. You can also take it in sections and at your own pace to savour the delights the river has to offer. We organise bus shuttles, hire sit-on-top kayaks and run rafting trips for those who want to get on and off the water.

  • Sit-on-top kayak trip €50 pp
  • Self-guided kayak adventures €60 pp
  • Floating Through Time Medieval Tour €30/45

Our custom-built centre is located at the access point to the popular Swifts Wave and our modern amenities (changing area, toilets, coffee dock, boat wash area with showers)  are welcome to all who want to explore the Blueway.
